Privacy Policy

Rolekeep keeps your job search on your device. This version of the app has no account, no Rolekeep servers and no analytics.

What Rolekeep stores

The roles, sources, notes, people, rounds, check-ins, briefs and follow-up drafts you add are stored only on your iPhone or iPad, in the app’s protected storage. Text from screenshots and files you import is read on your device.

What Rolekeep sends

Nothing you add to Rolekeep is sent to us or to anyone else. We do not collect usage analytics, crash reports or advertising identifiers in this version of the app. If a future version adds optional cloud sync, it will ask for your consent first and this policy will be updated before that version is released.

Purchases

Passes are bought through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes the payment and gives the app a signed record of your purchase so it can unlock the pass. We do not receive your payment details.

Permissions

Notifications (optional): reminders before and after an interview round you scheduled. Notification text never shows company or people names.
Calendar (optional, add only): adds an event you choose. Rolekeep cannot read your calendar.
Photos and files: only the items you pick.

Widgets and Live Activities

The widget and the interview-day Live Activity read a small summary stored on your device. On the Lock Screen they hide company, role and people names.

Your control

You can export everything Rolekeep holds as a file, and erase it all from Settings → Your data → Erase data on this device. Deleting the app also deletes its data. See Delete your data.

Children

Rolekeep is not directed to children under 13.
